Building Permits are required for decks, garages, home renovations and pools with a depth of water over 24 inches (includes inflatable pools).
Zoning Permits are required for fences (including hedgerows or bushes which create a fence), driveways, sheds and signs.
This list is not all inclusive. When in doubt, call the office to speak to Mr. Lachenauer.
No unlicensed, unregistered, inoperable or uninsured vehicles are allowed in the Village unless they are stored inside a building.
Property Maintenance: lawns may not exceed nine inches in height. Outdoor storage of refrigerators is prohibited.
Open burning is not allowed in the Village. Please call before purchasing an outdoor burning appliance such as an outdoor fireplace or fire pit.
Complaints are accepted in writing using a Village complaint form. Please stop by the Village Office if you wish to complete a form or print one from the website.
There is no building allowed in designated flood plain areas. If you have questions about the location of a flood plain area, please call the Code Enforcement Officer.

Every single- family home must have a carbon monoxide detector.
